Twenty volunteers built a two-story art car for Burning Man in six months. Most had never welded before. They used 757 Makerspace's Open Studio Flex Space to learn steel and aluminum fabrication, taught by experienced makers who showed up to help. The result: a mobile suburban front porch that traveled cross-country to the Black Rock Desert for Burning Man.
