Great people surround themselves with other great people. Thanks for considering a membership to 757 Makerspace. We are growing, always evolving and happy to have you join us.  All membership types grant you access to the space – but you must be trained or at least tested on the equipment by our staff or instructors before you can use equipment for your safety, those around you and for the equipment itself.

We have Membership options available that fit most maker’s needs.  If the Yearly/Quarterly/Makers Dozen meet your needs, you can sign up and pay for membership using the links above .  If you need something different than the types show come talk with us to find something that better fits your needs.

We are also now offering a single day pass to the space to get your project done, msg us or come by during Open/Staffed hours.

How to Join:

You can join by following the steps, which are, in short:

  • The first step should be to come visit and check out the space. Schedule a visit during our Open Hours (using the Contact us link) or join us on the First Friday of each month at our Open Build Night (7pm – 10pm) and come introduce yourself.
  • If you are still interested, you can start your membership with a paypal subscription using the links above from our website.
  • You’ll then need to attend either a public meeting or a New Member Orientation. Before your membership is official, our membership coordinator will need to check a government-issued photo ID. Either of these events is an appropriate place for that. Once your ID has been verified, you’ll get access to the space and will be able to continue your maker journey.

But you’ve got concerns, let’s address them:

  • I have a project I need to get done on a very short time frame, is there any way to get in before next Saturday?

We are closed to the public on Sundays and Monday (doors are locked, only members with keys have access), if you need to meet during those days you will need to wait until the next Tuesday-Saturday to schedule a meeting or join us at the next Open Build Night or Public Meeting.

  • How do I get authorized on tools?

Most/many tools require authorization (we use this term rather than certification). Authorization varies for each piece of equipment. Some items have pre-requisites and some can only be done by a small set of trainers. Information about how to get authorized is done in person or through our mailing list.
